The CMLTO is proud to share that we have been awarded Advanced Solutions International (ASI) New Implementation Award for our successful implementation of iMIS software. iMIS is a purpose-built engagement management system (EMS) for member-based organizations.
Last year, the CMLTO staff undertook the implementation of iMIS software as the backbone of our Public Register and Registrant databases. This project underscored our commitment to modernizing our platforms, enhancing their efficiency, and improving the overall user experience for all our key partner groups of the College.
The project was a success, and the results included a streamlined process, reduced redundancies, and ensured that all interactions with our platforms were smooth and efficient.
For our Registrants, this meant easier access to personal information and more straightforward management of registration details. MLT employers benefitted from a more robust and accessible Public Register, while public access was easier for gaining information about medical laboratory technologists on the CMLTO Public Register as well as Registered Medical Laboratory Technicians on the public facing Voluntary Roster.
This award recognizes the hard work, collaboration, and dedication of CMLTO staff in delivering meaningful improvements that benefit all key partner groups. By implementing modern, user-friendly technology, the College continues to advance its mandate of public protection while supporting Ontario’s medical laboratory professionals. CMLTO is proud of this achievement and remains committed to ongoing innovation that strengthens our systems and enhances the services we provide.
