Updating my personal information

The CMLTO By-Law (PDF) requires registrants to keep the information in their CMLTO Online Services profile up-to-date. This information includes:

  • Legal name
  • Mailing address
  • Contact information, including email address and phone number
  • Employment information 
  • MLT education
  • Specialities or certifications
  • Other information that may impact your registration

Ensuring this information is correct allows CMLTO to communicate important communications with registrants about matters which may impact their professional practice. 

When should I update my information?

You should update your profile information as quickly as possible after a change occurs. CMLTO By-Law states that registrants are required to notify the College within 30 days of the change

How do I update my personal information?

You can update your information by logging into your CMLTO Online Services profile. You can log in using your Username (CMLTO registration number) and password. If you can’t remember your registration number, you can search for it through the CMLTO Public Register

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?
If you have forgotten your password, you may reset it by typing “forgot” in the password section then click the “Login” button and select “Click Here to Reset your Password.” An email will be sent to the primary email address in your CMLTO profile with a link to confirm the password reset request. When you receive the email, click the link to reset your password.
What if the change I need to make requires providing additional documentation?
Updates to your legal name, MLT education, MLT specialties or certifications require you to provide supporting documents before they are reflected in your profile. Please download and follow the submission instruction in the Guarantor’s verification form below:

The documents you submit will be reviewed by the CMLTO Registration staff. Approved changes will be added to your profile.
