The College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) was pleased to participate in the 32nd Annual Fall Symposium hosted by the Kenora Rainy River Regional Laboratory Program (KRRRLP).
The Fall Symposium is a long-standing event that brings together medical laboratory professionals and clinical staff from across Northwestern Ontario. It offers a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen professional connections, and highlight the important role laboratory professionals play in the healthcare system.
Participants had the chance to engage in a variety of educational sessions, gain insights from sector experts, and earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. Beyond the learning opportunities, the symposium provides a collaborative environment where professionals at different stages of their careers can connect, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
CMLTO is committed to supporting professional development and continuing education across the laboratory sector. Attending events such as the KRRRLP Fall Symposium helps the College engage with medical laboratory professionals, listen to their experiences, and contribute to ongoing conversations about quality laboratory practice and patient care.
