All Medical Laboratory Technologists must renew their registration by December 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Please note that due to the Canada Post strike any mailed documents from the College may be delayed in their delivery to you and the mail version of your Annual Renewal notice may occur later. Therefore, the CMLTO is sending you formal notice by email. The steps to complete renewal are described below. Despite any delays in receiving your renewal notice by mail, you are obliged to complete renewal by the deadline of December 31, 2025.

During the 2026 Annual Renewal, Registrants will see a few questions about their identity. For any question you can choose “Prefer not to answer,” or you can update your responses in the future through your CMLTO profile. By sharing your information, you help CMLTO strengthen fairness and accessibility for everyone. To learn more please review the CMLTO’s Annual Renewal Update: Sharing Self-Identification Information.
