The College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) Annual Registration Renewal for 2025 began on November 1, 2024. This is a reminder that all Medical Laboratory Technologists must renew their registration by December 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST. For instructions on how to renew your registration, please visit the following section of our website and consult this instructional video.
PLEASE CONSULT THE INFORMATION BELOW TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO RENEW YOUR CMLTO REGISTRATION ON TIME AND AVOID LATE PENALTIES:
Ensure that you are using the correct Username to access your CMLTO Online Services account
Based on our experience handling technical issues reported by registrants during this renewal period on the new Online Services system, we want to remind you that your Username is the primary email address that you have registered with the CMLTO. If you have forgotten your password, click the appropriate option and enter your email address. You will receive an email that contains your Username or a link to set your new password.
Review your CMLTO Online Services profile & options
If you have not done so already, please follow the instructions issued to all CMLTO registrants on how to log into their accounts in the modernized platform on September 27th, 2024. You are strongly encouraged to log into your Online Services platform, acclimate yourself with the layout, and ensure that you can complete your renewal.
Complete the tasks above well in advance of December 31st to ensure that you can complete your renewal on time
Given that this is the first registration renewal period using the new Online Services platform, we encourage you to complete all of the steps required well in advance of the December 31st deadline in case you require assistance or have any questions for College staff. If you leave your renewal until the last minute, you run the risk of not renewing your registration on time.
If you do not complete the annual renewal or resignation processes by December 31st, you will be sent notice of CMLTO’s intention to suspend your registration.
If you have any questions, please contact the Registration department by email at registration@cmlto.com.
