CMLTO has recently updated its Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) Case Studies, transforming them into easy-to-use infographics designed to make learning more accessible and practical for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs).

The refreshed case studies highlight real-world scenarios where effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving play a vital role in delivering safe and high-quality laboratory services. Each infographic presents key lessons, practical takeaways, and discussion questions to help MLTs navigate interprofessional challenges in their daily work.

The updated case studies explore topics such as aligning laboratory practices with evolving clinical needs, improving specimen integrity, addressing communication issues, and enhancing collaboration with other health professionals.

By providing these case studies in a visual, accessible format, CMLTO aims to support MLTs in strengthening IPC and advancing patient care across Ontario’s health system.
