The CMLTO Board of Directors recognizes the critical role that Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) employers play in shaping the future of the profession.

If you are an MLT employer in Ontario, we are inviting you to participate in a unique and exclusive opportunity to provide your input and experience into the CMLTO’s broader strategic planning initiatives.

Why join this CMLTO Employer Focus Group session?

• Inform CMLTO’s strategic initiatives: Help shape CMLTO’s strategic initiatives and regulatory priorities by ensuring the employer voice is heard at the decision-making table.
• Highlight real challenges: Share your on-the-ground experiences to help address system-wide issues impacting recruitment, retention, quality of care, and workforce sustainability.
• Connect with peers: Engage in meaningful dialogue with fellow leaders in the healthcare sector who face similar challenges and opportunities. Participating in CMLTO focus group sessions is a fantastic way to network with your peers within other organizations.
• Demonstrate leadership: Position your organization as a key contributor in strengthening the MLT profession and enhancing patient care across Ontario.

The focus group will take place on Wednesday, July 23rd in the morning and will last approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on the depth of discussion. The meeting will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams.
