There are two classes of registration with the College:
Practising and Non-Practising. Details of these categories are explained in the Registration Regulations of the CMLTO.

Practising Members

Have met all the requirements of the College, that is, education, examination and active engagement in the profession (or CMLTO-approved refresher course hours) and are able to practice without restriction.

Non-Practising Members

Have met the College registration requirements, but are not permitted to practice while registered in the Non-Practising category.
