Quality Assurance is one of the top priorities and one of the key purposes of the College of Medical Laboratory
Technologists of Ontario.
The CMLTO has a Quality Assurance Committee that develops and maintains a quality assurance program ensuring
MLTs perform to best practice standards. Competence is a continuous quality improvement commitment each MLT makes
in becoming a licensed health care professional.
