Recent Graduates
New graduates of medical laboratory technology programs receive a letter outlining the details of the registration process for the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
The CMLTO offers an online application process. To practise medical laboratory technology in Ontario and use the restricted title, an individual must first become registered as a Practising member of the CMLTO.
New graduates can work as medical laboratory assistants or medical laboratory technicians until they are registered as practising members of the CMLTO.
