Allied Health Professional Development Fund (AHPDF)
HealthForceOntario provides financial support for health professionals through the Allied Health Professional Development Fund (AHPDF). The purpose of the fund is to develop skills and enhance knowledge and leadership capacity among allied health professionals. Practicing members of nine allied health professions, including MLTs, are eligible to apply for as much as $1,500 per year for professional development courses and programs. Learn more about AHPDF.
To further support professional development, the AHPDF has invested in a multi-year subscription to an Electronic Health Library. This library gives practicing members of the allied health professionals access to the most recent health care literature to help determine the best approach to evidence-based practice.
